I recently came across an article in which Gordon Borrell predicts that by 2024 95% Businessman Holding Graphof media sellers will disappear.  As is the case with everything, change and evolution are inevitable and from it comes opportunity.

 

Borrell states,  “In their place will be the next-gen rep who will be one of two varieties: a creative consultant and expert in consumer-path messaging, or a database genius who can help clients interpret reams of data.”

 

Yes, radio sales is changing.  Today’s rep needs to be an expert in all things digital. This while continuing to handle all aspects of the sales process. But

what else is changing inside the radio sales department and what opportunities exist?
